There are just three things a guy truly wants:
Security
Respect
Loyalty
If he gets these three, that’s it — he’s done. He’s yours.
Security — not the kind that money brings, but emotional security. The kind where he doesn’t feel insecure because of what you do or who you talk to. Where he can trust that his presence matters, that he’s enough. Where his mind is at peace because your actions never make him question his place in your life.
Respect — when a girl starts as a friend, then becomes the best friend, and maybe eventually everything… If a guy cares for her, supports her, feeds her, understands her — then all of that effort deserves recognition. His care, his thoughts, his time — they all deserve respect. He should be acknowledged in front of society. A guy’s love isn't always loud, but it’s full of silent responsibility. That should mean something.
Loyalty — not in terms of checking in every second or sharing every little detail. It’s not about controlling each other. It’s about the feeling: does she think he deserves to know? Would she want to tell him where she is, what she's doing — not because she has to, but because she values his peace of mind?
It’s not about "are you with someone else or not?" It’s about "do you feel like you owe him the truth?"
Because loyalty isn’t in the act, it’s in the intention.
He thinks: “Would my mom ever go out without telling my dad?” Probably not.
It’s that simple. “Dad never said no, but she always told him.” That’s loyalty. That’s love.
And yet, he tells himself:
This is just a fantasy.
I don’t believe such a girl exists.
I don’t believe someone would love me this way.
So, if it doesn't happen — he’s okay.
If someday his mom chooses a girl for him — he’ll marry her.
And if life blesses him with a daughter, he’ll teach her all this.
Because even if he couldn’t find this kind of love, maybe he can raise it
